With Greyhound w-thumbs!^ Racing . it's fast , it's exciting , it's thrilling , it's beautiful & it's heart pounding excitement when you watch the dogs turn that last corner heading down the home stretch flying towards the finish line wether it's a flat race or a hurdles race . I'd love to see the sport rise from the ashes like a Phoenix to its beloved stature it once had in the sports world , admittedly ... much like horse racing greyhound racing has it's problems that need to be dealt with before that could happen. the dog track was the place to be back in the day when men & woman would dress in their finest to bet & socialize with other greyhound racing fans .I've been reading about the history of the sport & learning everything I can about it in general . I'd love to see the sport on tv ( with big sponsorships ) & big races get national attention like horse racing's triple crown races , I'd like to see money poured into existing tracks & the building of new tracks which wether big or small would be architectural showcases for the sport . I'd like to see the sport crack down on owners / trainers ( or anyone else ) who would harm the sport by cheating / doping dogs /etc with severe penalties ... or even a lifetime ban , I'd like to see the sport put more money into the welfare of the dogs to make sure they are happy & healthy with large areas to play , run & just relax instead of being locked in a cage for long periods of time along with spacious medical facilities to care for them at the track . Greyhound racing has a storied history & is popular in the United States , Europe ( most notably the United kingdom & Ireland ) & Oceania ( notably Australia & New Zealand ) with tracks scattered elsewhere worldwide .Yes folks I ve become a greyhound racing fan & I'm loving it Thankyou)(&. I'll be seeing ya at the races
